Mercedes Maybach Rolls Royce Phantom Lamborghini Murcielago BMW M6 Ferrari F430 Comparison

By CJ Carter

For instance, Rolls Royce Phantoms start at $340,000 and can approach up to $500,000. Rolls Royce sold 1000 cars in 2007. Rolls Royce cheapest car cost $340,000 but they still managed to sell 1000 of them. The SLR and the Maybach are the only cars Benz makes even remotely in Rolls price range.
Yet even with combined sales they don't even put up a dismal 300 units. Bugatti sells the $1.3 million Veyron Super car has sold 220 units. That is almost as many sales as Maybach and SLR put together. The sad part about that is that the Veyron cost 3 times more then either of those cars. You could buy the most expensive Maybach and the most expensive McLaren SLR and still have money left to buy a Murcielago LP640 for the price of a Veyron, yet Buggati still managed to sell nearly as many units as Mercedes' most prestigious vehicles with a car that cost 3 times as much.

Let's not even throw Ferrari, Lamborghini, or Bentley into the hat. Ferrari's start at $280,000 with the F430, Lamborghini starts at $260,000 with the Gallardo, and Bentley starts at $190,000 with the Continental GT. All of those car makers have $1 millon cars with the exception of Bentley who makes a half million dollar car. Ferrari sold over 6000 cars is 2007. Lamborghini sold 2400 cars in 2007 and Bentley sold over 10,000 cars in 2007. The 290 cars the Mercedes Benz sold in their uber-luxury category are not even statistically significant in comparison to their competitors. In order for Mercedes to be statistically significant they would have to at least sell 5% of what their competitors do in a similar category. Because Mercedes Benz cannot do that, the cars that they do make which are comparable, are not even worthy of discussion because the buying populous doesn't pay them any mind and they aren't statistically significant.

Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster

am going to be articulating about the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster. This Roadster was inspired and designed by Luc Donckerwolke.

It is sold on the market for approximately $405,000 which is a pretty good price for the power and exoticism of this car. This is such a classy and admirable car, with extreme performance, this
Lamborghini also is a convertible. This Lamborghini has a monstrous 6.5 liter engine, that is astounding, the Murcielago also has a V-12!! The torque is 494 lb.-ft. at 6,000 rpm. The horsepower is pretty fascinating, it really is, the horsepower is 640 bhp at 8,000 rpm. It goes 0-60 in 3.3 seconds, pretty prodigious, it also has an astonishing top speed of 205 mph. This Lamborghini is also environmentally friendly, it needs 1 gallon every 8 miles, this is an improvement from the other Lamborghinis. There is also a 6-speed transmission and a four wheel drive, how stunning. Something cool about this car is that it has fold in side mirrors to improve aerodynamics. Aerodynamics is a big part of making your car fly and give it the feeling of speed that it has. I just realized that not everyone knows what some abbreviations mean, so I will tell you them, rpm stands for revolutions per minute and bhp stands for brake horsepower. When I speak of revolutions I am talking about how many time the cars engine revolves. I think that this car is one to choose because of many

different things. One of the things is that is more environmentally friendly, and by doing that it also saves you money on gas. The performance is another amazing feature, like many other Lamborghinis, it is extremely fast and powerful. It also has amazing horsepower, which is worth the money. All in all the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster is made for speed and made up of speed. Not your everyday kind of car, right? Well its great to go out and speed with into the country or something with no speed limits. This a really over rated kind of car not really meant as a family ,lets go to soccer practice, kind of car. I think that this car is worth its money if you have a lot of time to your self and love speed. Next week I will be doing an entry on the Porsche Carrera GT! I hope that you enjoyed my entry on the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster .

Lamborghini Esto Elemento

After some rumors, wishful thinking and the like, the Italians at Lamborghini finally have some solid information for us on the production version of the Sesto Elemento.

The Paris Motor Show superstar, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento will leave the concept state and become a fully fledged production model.

While the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento will become a production model, sadly, it won’t be road legal.
The Sesto Elemento will be mainly focused for track action so I guess, the best way to envision this car is as a near competitor for the Pagani Zonda R.
The R version of the Zonda is built on the same principle, that of non compromised motoring performance. To this extent we should imagine that the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento will be running on slick tires.
Another thing to expect from the production version of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is any competition participation or even a limited series.
Apparently the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento will be produced in a limited number of around 20 units just like the Reventon. Another similarity to the impressive Lamborghini Reventon is the price tag
Predicitions of a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento price speak of a sum somewhere around 1.6 million dollars.

Lamborghini Reventon

Lamborghini revealed its new Reventon supercar at the Frankfurt auto show in 2007 and a week later in the U.S. at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The new Lamborghini Reventon is latest Supercar for the super rich. With a price tag around 1.4 million dollars this car is for an exclusive group of high performance car fans.
Sporting the same stealth fighter-inspired angular bodywork as the standard Reventón that was unveiled two years ago at the same auto show, the new topless Lamborghini will reportedly make use of its all-wheel drive system to help the run to 60 in just 3.4 seconds.
