Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy has had quite a bit of news today. It has been announced that TNA has pulled him from house shows this weekend. For those living under a rock, Jeff was sent home Monday after appearing at Victory Road in no shape to perform. TNA, instead of switching the card, put him out in the ring where he had an 88 second match with Sting. Fans are livid, Hardy's not doing any TV tapings this week, which adds to about three weeks of television. He was set to face AJ Styles at house shows this weekend, but it will now be replaced with Matt Hardy vs. Rob Van Dam.
In other news, Jeff had a court hearing regarding his
drug trafficking charges regarding his September 2009 arrest. It has been continued. Yes, again. Believe it or not, prosecutors are still awaiting the results of drug tests from an arrest they made almost two years ago. Isn't that stupid?

It should be noted that Hardy's attorney says that his client plans to plead guilty, meaning that some kind of plea deal has probably been arranged.

Jason Powell of ProWrestlJeff Hardy arrested! The WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy arrested in North Carolina, felony Drug Trafficking. My Twitter Message will follow soon, says Jeff Hardy. Heavy quantities of drug and drug paraphernalia found at his home during police search.

32-year-old Jeffrey “Jeff” Nero Hardy, the youngest of the ‘Hardies’ is being held on bail set at $125,000 at the Moore County Detention Center. The August 31, 1977 born entertainer was already in a state of grief after loosing to CM Punk, the current Heavyweight Champion of the World in a ‘looser leave WWE match around two weeks ago. It seems that hard luck follows him these days wherever he goes.
Wrestlingobserver.com reported that Hardy’s house was searched during a planned raid today whereby the police found and seized some 262 Vicodin Prescription pills, 180 Soma pills, anabolic steroids (55 ml) and an outstanding amount of cocaine powder along with plenty of items of drug paraphernalia. Hardy was thus arrested and he could be charged of trafficking in opium, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance (with intent of sale or delivery), storage of drugs at house, possessing cocaine and possessing drug paraphernalia.

Hardy who was released on bail, made it very clear to his fans through his Twitter that the bail money was not provided by Matt Hardy his WWE Superstar elder brother; rather he was just learning of the situation.
The fresh incident only added to Hardy’s bad drug record as he has been suspended by WWE Authorities on account of violence of WWE Wellness Policy twice in the past. Therefore, many people may not take the news as seriously until they come to know the very serious consequences poor Hardy may face, in case proved guilty!ing.net and Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com are reporting that TNA Management has sent Jeff Hardy home from the TNA tapings after that horrendous main event at Victory Road last night. Insiders are apparently describing Jeff's state of mind as a "mess." He is due to appear back in court next Monday stemming from his 2009 arrest for drugs.

Hardy is still advertised for the show at this point, but let's keep our fingers crossed that Dixie Carter sticks to her guns this time.
