Nick Hogan

John Graziano, the critically injured passenger of Nick Hogan, is showing small signs of improvement. According to Graziano's mother Debra, John is now semi-conscious and has opened his eyes. He still cannot breathe without a breathing machine, however, and he has not spoken since the August 26th accident.

The St. Petersburg Times reported in October that the best Graziano could ever hope for was the ability to open and close his eyes occasionally.

Graziano, an active-duty Marine, had just returned from his second tour-of-duty in Iraq when the accident occurred. He was not wearing his seatbelt. Hogan was, and escaped the accident with minor injuries. He faces criminal charges including reckless driving and an underage drinking charge.
